i just like music in general. only instrument i ever had actual classes to learn from was the trumpet for two years in junior highschool. i was always more interested in drawing than actually learning to play an instrument so i've pretty much forgotten everything i learned back then.
it's kind of sad to me that i forgot but i don't feel the least bit bad about being more interested in visual art and spending more time on it than learning music.

I actually only took a year of classes when I was in first grade, and then forgot it almost immediately.

Anything I know now, I have either written, or learned by ear. As a matter of fact, you could place sheet music in front of me, and I'd stand just as much of a chance understanding and folling it as I would reading a book in French.

Basically I used to be stuck at home for the entire summer each year. Two of those years I had a N64, three tv channels (all fuzzy), and a piano.

That's really how I learned.
